Anaconda Navigator¶
If you do not like the command line, you can install Anaconda Navigator, a graphical user interface for conda:
Call Anaconda Prompt via Start — Anaconda3 (XX-bit) — Anaconda Prompt.
Enter the command:
conda install anaconda-navigator
conda downloads the necessary files and asks for confirmation:
Proceed ([y]/n)?
Enter
y
Wait until the installation is complete.
Once installed, Anaconda Navigator is available in the Start menu.
Environment management in Anaconda Navigator is available under Environments. There you can also find the package you need (see the Search Packages field at the top of the window) and install it into the active environment (the active environment is marked with an arrow).
